What to expect?

Welcome to Resurrection Brooklyn Heights—a church in and for our neighborhood.

We warmly invite you to gather with us and attend our worship service, whether you consider yourself a Christian or not. Perhaps you have never been to church, or haven’t been in a long time, and fear that you won’t know what to do, how to act, or what to say. Be assured: you are welcome.

We believe that Jesus intends for the church to be a home for His people. We expect that God will meet you in worship; he will meet you in songs, prayers, sermon, and the sacraments. You are not expected to know “everything” before you attend church, but our promise is to explain as we go along.

Our hope is that you will discover a sense of home, right here in our church and city, and that you will grow in community and in relationship with God.

A few more practical things to know before your visit:

Worship begins at 10:30 am, and service typically concludes at 11:45 am.

We’ll serve coffee and light bites after service. We hope you’ll join us.

Childcare provided.

You may find our latest sermon audio below or browse additional sermons on iTunes.

We believe God’s Kingdom is the renewal of all things under His loving rule, and that our congregation should be serving its neighbors and neighborhood in word and deed.

We hope that as our church celebrates Christ and serve Brooklyn, God’s peace will be more and more present in our neighborhood.
